LATELY.
Hey all,
Hamilton was really great to us last night, so thanks to everyone who watched us. It was a wonderful experience to play at such a great venue. We went to Rolly Rocket’s afterwards for a quick meal and hang with the Dirty Nil (seriously, just listen to the songs) and we tried to do some karaoke but the regulars were taking all the tunes.
Here’s a story:
Peter drove me to Bathurst and College today around 1PM to start putting up some flyers for our March 2nd show and as I went to take out some money, a man behind me asked, “excuse me, are you a Toronto connoisseur?”
I replied with, “I know enough. What do you need to know?”
He said, “Do you know anywhere I could go to party?”
“Right now?”
“Yeah, right now.”
“What kind of party?”, I asked.
“I don’t know… One with girls and blow,” he said, matter-of-factly.
Regretfully, I was unable to help him.
