WHAT A RUSH.
A friend posted this on Facebook, so I figured it would be a good reminder to Peter and I on how we should treat our bodies on tour. Stick it out til the end.
- Jeff
PS I mean that we’ll be treating our bodies to copious amounts of leg curls/squats/leg presses (please let us know if you’d like us to lift you with our legs) in order to get those fine walking machines Jim has there.

East Coast This Week!!!!!
See you soon people we haven’t met yet!
Sure, why not.
I’m starting to think that I’ve been doing this music thing long enough to stop being polite/keeping my mouth shut about ‘music journalists’ who talk out their ass, maybe it’s time to start being a bit more honest myself. This lovely review of my apparent chubbiness is a good place to start I think. “Teenage Kicks is like a bunch of white tattooed guys playing...
CMW ROUND-UP.
Hey all,
We’re getting excited for CMW this week, so I figured I’d post some of the bands we’re excited to see/play with.
The Dirty Nil
They’re playing at Cherry Cola’s on Thursday at 8PM (the show we’ll be seeing them at) and the Bovine on Saturday at 2AM (sold out, so go to Cherry Cola’s!) but I’ve been talking about these dudes for a few months...
Announcing Teenage Kicks Singles Club Vol. 2
Hello Kickers,
We’re still a little over a week away from the next Singles Club but we’re busy this week, and gone the next so I’m spilling the beans a bit early.
Singles Club Vol. 2 consists of the A-Side ‘Human Wrecking Ball’, which was the first thing we released as a band via Southern Souls almost exactly 2 years ago. We’ve taken a new spin on the song...
Wooden Sky
Part 2 in a series of incredibly good looking and sounding videos from one of the best in the country. Look out, world.

The Future of the Singles Club.
Singles Club Vol. 2 is almost upon us, it will cover something from one of my old bands as well as something that was released just as Teenage Kicks was initially formed. I think you’ll be happy with what’s in store for the future months. A good friend of ours recently pitched a pretty interesting idea… he thought it’d be cool to bring in people from other bands to...
YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL, BUT HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT IT?
Staying up late, watching Oasis videos. What are you doing?
- Jeff
Countdown.
I love this song already, namely because it’s so jarring/complex yet also so appealing and catchy. The Elwins and Luke Lalonde got together with one of our old pals Mitch Fillion (and a few others) and came out with this gem of a cover. Well worth the watch.

Coupla Songs
One of my favourites, and a new (old) one I was just introduced to.

East Coast Tour
We’re going on tour for the first time at the end of March. Check out the details below, and a poster I crafted using the power of photoshop.
*note* It was either this or Rock Lobstour, and I couldn’t accurately photoshop our faces onto a bunch of lobsters, they don’t seem to have a lot of group shots.

Presenting... The Making of Be On My Side
Hello fellow Kickers,
A few months ago a very good friend of ours began putting together a short film about the recording of our new EP and although the six minutes of footage we had of Jeff using a pitch shifter and saying, ‘Hello Sailor’ was left out, I still think he did a pretty darned good job and we’re very excited for you all to finally see it.
The documentary was...
