Big thanks.
Hey all,
Just wanted to say thanks to all those who came out last night. We were stokin’ to be a part of the I Am Committing A Sin reunion show and had a great time. Special thanks to the Sandman Viper Command gents for having a better time than everyone else and joining us on stage to sing CCR’s Fortunate Son.
We have a ton of shows coming up in September around southern Ontario....
TOP 5 DANCE SONGS.
Like most people, I think dance music really reached it’s peak with the song “Sandstorm” by epic dance mastermind Darude. I can’t disagree. Without further adieu, my top 5 dance songs.

THE BOARD GAME (and we welcome a new member)
A few weeks ago I thought it would be a good idea to make my own board game. This idea goes hand and hand with other grand schemes I’ve thought up and carried out in the last few years including (but not limited to) making my own Muppets, writing a book and becoming a terrible portrait artist. So far, the game has been a success and I’m looking for more pop culture enthusiasts to try...
Gospel Drummers
Hey
So, I’m addicted to watching gospel chops videos on Youtube, these guys shred! Apparently Jesus likes rippin beats. I have never been to church but I might have thought about it if I knew that this is what they do there. Heres Clarence.

Bleeding Heart.
Today a very sweet man was fired from my place of work because my boss told him not to swear. This man came to Canada from Guyana when he was nineteen years old with the intention of studying engineering. Before school commenced he began to deal drugs, two years later he was in jail for killing a rival drug dealer who had stolen from him. He spent 28 years in jail, missing the birth of his son...
NOSTALGIA.
Nostalgia is a strange beast that seems to rear it’s head often with me. I say “strange beast” because it’s a double-edged sword, both good and bad and it sways my opinion of good things that were actually bad and vice versa. Whether it comes down to the thought of how important my first love was or whether or not Donnie Darko was actually as important a film as I thought...
HOLY GHOST - Weekly Video Post CONtinued
I spent this past weekend up in and around the beautiful Sauble Beach region at my dear friend Dylan’s cottage. This was my second time visiting and the weather this round was almost as awful as the hurricane force winds we were dealt last fall on our first trip. I had intended on filming an older song I’d written around Dylan’s fire pit, one that references Tom Thomson who...
So, we played the Blink 182 after show on Wednesday night at the Amphitheatre.. What a time! Load in was at 2:30, at which point it felt like 40 degress outside. On top of that, we were to set up on the roof of the AMEX lounge, which my or may not have been the hottest place I’ve ever had to be. Also, the only access to the roof, is by ladder. Not even a fixed steel ladder, it was a yellow...
TOP 5 ACAPELLA SONGS ON YOUTUBE.
These are just the vocals from some hit songs. Here it goes.
DAVID LEE ROTH - RUNNIN’ WITH THE DEVIL
I hate to put the best song first, but I can’t help it. This is one of the funniest audio recordings to ever exist. Also, the picture is hilarious. Listen to the whole thing.
CHRIS CORNELL - JESUS CHRIST POSE
The man, the myth, the legend. At his most legendary (wailing wise)...
TOP 5 PRE-EMPTED TOP 5 POSTS.

Four Horsemen - VIDEO/SONG POST WEEK #3
Hello everyone, I hope the 5 of you who happen to be reading this are ready to be blown into mid-tempo heaven. I wrote this one a couple of months ago but kind of put it on the back burner to concentrate on some other songs that would have a better chance of working their way into the setlist. Revisiting it now I can definitely hear that I had ‘Houses of the Holy’ Zeppelin in the back...
Naked Women
I watched Brigitte Berman’s documentary Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel last night and learned a great deal of things that had nothing to do with naked women. One of the more important pieces of information I took from the film had to do with Hefner’s unabashed support of the African American community whether it be their political leaders, musicians, comedians etc etc....
So, my girlfriend got a “future guide dog” puppy and he’s a total idiot. I don’t really understand how things go viral but maybe this will? Although I feel like there is some pretty steep competition as far as videos of cute bullshit go. Either way, this is just an introduction to this hell raiser I like to call Creech. Any dog related slander or bashing you may see come...
TOP 5 CELEBRITY ENCOUNTERS.
I don’t have many more than five to choose from (I’m even including one of Peter’s) and most are hardly even celebrities, but I met someone last night and I had to share the story via Tumblr.
CUT LOOSE FROM THE ANVIL DOCUMENTARY
If you follow our Twitter (why wouldn’t you?) you probably saw that Peter and I spotted him at the Foo Fighters show last night. We saw him...
The Lines Between
If you haven’t noticed as of late, all four of us have been trying to post a lot more content to the blog. I’m hoping that on a weekly basis my contribution will be more of these videos (whether it be full band, covers or acoustic) and with that… I give to you video #2.

New Tunes
Hey guys.
Just an update on what’s going on lately. Writing. Lots of it.
We have been trying to add as much new material to our repertoire as possible. We currently have 5 new songs in the works, on top of the 2 new ones you might have already heard (Middle of the night & Blacks and blues). We practice at least three times a week, and we’ve been working non-stop on new stuff. The process is...
I’m shouting out loud for Hollerado and all their wicked ideas. I realized I was a supporter last night while driving to a cottage with a lady friend. We left Toronto at about 7:00 and we’re quickly informed that Hollerado would be performing live on air from The Edge’s Sugar Beach Studios in about 45 minutes. As we drove further away from the city the signal grew weak and I...
TOP 5 MUSIC DOCS.
This was a hard one. Peter and I are huge fans of all kinds of documentaries, so my list was a big one. A good music documentary (or any documentary) should draw you in even if you aren’t interested in the band or subject. Without further adieu, I give you my favorite music docs.
When You’re Strange
This is a perfect example of me not being interested in the band. I’ve...
Betterman
This is why nobody should ever invite Eddie Vedder on stage to sing with them. It sounds great on paper, I know, “frontman of Pearl Jam wants to help you sing your hit songs in front of thousands of people” - who could resist?
Well, nobody. Not even Jagger.
I hope you enjoy my collection of Eddie Vedder upstaging the biggest names in rock tuneage.

Live Live Live
Our good friend Chris Payne was on hand to capture the festivities as we took on a room just a bit smaller than our jam space last Thursday as the secret guests for the first instalment of Young Lions Music Club’s Live Off The Floor. Check out a few of my favourite photos from the night…
HELTER SKELTER - A Video Cover
I asked everyone to learn The Beatles’ Helter Skelter last Tuesday before band practice started that day. On Wednesday morning Patrick suggested we open with the song for our secret show the next night. We came, we played, and it was probably pretty mediocre due to nerves and first show jitters. The lovely people over at Live In Bellwoods took a video of us performing the song and I wanted...
