The Muppets, and my Muppets.
A few years ago I had some surgery that resulted in both my beautiful butt cheeks getting maimed and an overload of free-time. With that free time I did what any other sensible 23 year old male would do, I reignited my love for the Muppets and started making my own puppets (I also spent $40 on a Kermit shirt from Ebay).

Ben Folds
Here’s a couple live videos from some myspace session. Ben Folds is great. The rest of the videos from this are really good too. The third one is obviously my favourite.
We did gang vocals for the record yesterday which I believe wraps up tracking. Things sound awesome.

I remember the caliber of Top 40 in the mid 90s, sure there was still some shit on the radio and you can call me ‘old-fashioned’ but I’d rather listen to these songs any day of the week over Rihanna, Gaga, Cyrus, or Minaj. I do like most Katy Perry and Beyonce though, haha.

I’m sure St. Vincent’s new(ish) record will make it onto most indie critics Top 10 of 2011 lists, and I’d be inclined to agree with them. I first heard St. Vincent when she released Actor a few years ago and I was immediately blown away by that record. Here’s a classic. The Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich battle. Although, It’s not so much a battle as it is Buddy Rich ripping Gene to pieces. There’s a bunch of sick Buddy Rich videos around, you can look at Krupa ones but they are nowhere near as cool. I am obviously a fan of the rip.

I got to see Noel Gallagher in concert at Massey Hall this past Monday and I gotta say… It was kind of boring. It’s what I expected of Noel, I suppose, so I wasn’t really disappointed.
