SOUTHERN SOULS FUNDRAISER.
It’s with great pleasure that we are playing this show as Mitch has been one of mine and Peter’s friends for years now. We’ve always admired his musical abilities in his previous bands Navy and Kilhuminzu and the work he has put together with Southern Souls is amazing.
He’s made a lot of sacrifices for this project and has put his heart and soul (har, har) into it, so...
Everybody's working for the weekend.
As this weekend was so amazing for us, it was real painful for Peter and I to get out of bed (separate, of course) at 6AM and head on back into the reality of our shitty warehouse job. But regardless, huge thanks to everyone who came out, bought a record, hung out, nodded their heads, didn’t nod their heads, whatever.. we had a great time. Really big show.
The release show is tomorrow and we’ve got some great news if you’re coming from the Bicycle Film Festival. If you present your BFF pass or ticket, you can get into our show for two for one admission! So tell your filmmaking/filmwatching biking friends.

A few months back, I read a quote from an old Greek philosopher and it really spoke to me. With our release show weekend coming up in a week’s time, I feel that there’s no better place/time to requote it.
“We’re here for a good time, not a long time, so have a good time because the sun won’t shine everyday.”

Teenage Husbands.
Last night we had the pleasure of playing with our good friends in Gentlemen Husbands in Guelph. If you haven’t checked them out, do so ASAP. They are one of the best live bands you’ll ever see. All in all, it was great time with great friends and some old lady who REALLY liked their band, so thanks to all the friends that came out. It means a lot to us.
